UCT RAG

The UCT RAG Graduation Wine 

Graduation wine is a fundraiser for SHAWCO and one of RAG’s most elegant projects. It will take place during Graduation Week, from the 8^th to the 12^th of December 2008.

The project involves selling carefully selected wines, showcasing all 4000 graduates’ names, to UCT graduates and their families. The fact that each bottle features each graduates name for that year, makes it priceless.

The wine is accompanied by a magnifying glass for each graduate to find their own name, as well as a UCT engraved glass. The wine range offered includes red, white, sparkling and non-alcoholic wine. 

The 2008 Graduation Wine Committee is looking into extending this range by introducing a very limited number of port bottles as well as cigars.

The wine stands as a celebratory symbol on one of the most memorable days in anyone’s career.
