UCT RAG

Activations is a new project responsible for the organisation and running of Thursday meridian periods on Jammie Plaza, in which thousands of UCT students gather on the steps to watch and participate in events during their 45 minute lunch break.

Activations involves other UCT RAG events such as the RAG Olympics and other events catering for different segments of the student market.

The RAG Olympics is a day of fun and mayhem- stair skiing, trolley racing and the devouring of an almost inedible substance are tasks which make up just a tip of the

UCT RAG Olympics obstacle course iceberg and what its organisers have in store for the event’s brave participants!

Activations aim to provide a new and exciting platform with a wide scope for the creation of innovative projects.

The other possible activations like UCT RAG Dance Off which incorporates students on campus being able to show off their talents and provide opportunities for them to gain exposure.

During 2011 we will raise funds through the running of events that are innovative, creative and in line with the brand of our sponsors thereby offering unparalleled exposure of our sponsors to the student market.
